Department of Business Administration Quality Commission Meeting Held

The second meeting of the Business Administration Department Quality Commission for the year 2025 was held on October 16, 2025, in Room 432 of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The meeting was attended by the chair of the Quality Commission, Prof. Dr. Selami ÖZCAN, the quality coordinator, Asst. Prof. Dr. Vedat DEMİRKOL, faculty members who are commission members, external stakeholder representative, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Independent Auditor and President of the Yalova Independent Auditors Association Şengül TANIR, as well as student representatives Süleyman ÖZTÜRK and İrem BOLAT.

Following the opening remarks, information was shared regarding the department’s accreditation process. The department’s self-evaluation report and the 2025 departmental activities were then discussed.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to hold a departmental advisory board meeting, review the curriculum annually, organize an international student conference (ICOBS) in December 2025, hold a peer review team meeting, arrange technical visits to strengthen university-industry collaboration, organize celebratory events for newly appointed or promoted faculty members, and conduct at least five research seminars each semester within the scope of “training of trainers” activities.

The meeting concluded after participants shared their views and suggestions.
