An orientation program was held by Yalova University Department of Business Administration on September 24, 2026, with the aim of supporting newly enrolled students in their adaptation to university and departmental life.
In the first part of the program, the department was introduced by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Selami ÖZCAN, and the Vice Chair of the Department, Asst. Prof. Hacer ÖZTÜRK. Students were provided with information about the academic structure of the Department of Business Administration, the educational process, and departmental life.
As part of the program, various workshops were also organized to support students’ adaptation to university life and their academic development. In the “Introduction to Academia,” “Academic English,” and “Time Management” workshops conducted by Asst. Prof. Elif Nur ALPER and Res. Asst. Dr. Halil İbrahim ZENGİN, information and practical guidance aimed at helping students adapt to academic life were shared.
The second phase of the orientation program was scheduled to continue with a City Tour on Monday, September 28, 2026. (Update – September 28, 2026: The City Tour has been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.)
